Alarmable is an iPhone app by Jon Doss, published under DossFX. This policy covers the app, these website pages, and support communications.
Calendar data on your iPhone
With your permission, Alarmable reads selected calendars and event titles, identifiers, dates, and alerts to apply your rules and schedule native system alarms. Alarmable does not send your calendar data to us and never edits your original Calendar events or alerts.
Calendar selections, keyword rules, individual event choices, custom alarm times, sound choices, downtime settings, and alarm records are stored locally. Alarm records include event titles, identifiers, and times needed to reconcile alarms. The app’s state file uses iOS file protection and is excluded from device backups. Alarmable does not store event attendees, descriptions, or locations.
Event titles and alarm information are provided to Apple’s on-device alarm system and may appear on your lock screen and other system alarm surfaces. Calendar synchronization by Apple or your calendar provider operates separately from Alarmable.
Subscriptions
Apple processes subscriptions and payments through your Apple Account. Alarmable uses StoreKit to check verified subscription access. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles this information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
No advertising or tracking
Alarmable has no developer account system, advertising, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not run a server that receives your calendar events.
This website
These static pages are hosted by Cloudflare. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising, or a contact-form backend. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and secure the website. Its processing is described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Support messages
If you email support@dossfx.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Support email is handled through Google Workspace. We use those messages to respond, troubleshoot, and maintain a record of the request. Please avoid sending private calendar details or sensitive attachments unless necessary.
You may contact us to request deletion of support messages. We may retain information where needed to resolve an ongoing issue or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can change calendars and rules in Alarmable, revoke permissions in iPhone Settings, and manage subscriptions through Apple. Turning protection off asks the system to remove scheduled Calendar alarms; check the app for any errors. Already-ringing alarms and user-requested snoozes are handled separately.
Deleting the app removes its local data but does not cancel an Apple subscription. Your original events stay in Calendar. You can cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
